Below are the clubs i went to while i was in Ayia Napa in Augest 2002 and my views on them:
The Gas Club- This was the first club i went to in Ayia Napa. And wasnt very impressed. Although i went to club ice the night before this, we left early coz the music was shite! The Gas club is a very simple design. It is very small and is a rectangle shape with a bar at each end although the Lighting and sound is brilliant! the DJ Box is in the middle up against the wall with 2 stands either side for MC's and PA's! It actually reminds me of a club near me called the Circus Tavern! Arena 2 of the Gas Club is near enuff the same design but i didnt stay in there long enuff coz it was RnB music and mainly coz the Heartless Crew had just started there 2 and half hour set!
The Gas club is (I think) the only club in Ayia Napa playing UK Garage every night of the week. The events that were happening every week when i was there was Heartless Crew on Fridays, UK garage on Saturdays, EZ every Sunday, Exposure every Monday and Pay as u go Crew on Wednesday! I cant remember what happened on Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Club Ice- Well, wot can i say! This club is breath taking. The lay out is brilliant. Going by the name, the layout of the club was designed as a big ice cave! I thought the interiour was brilliant although it makes u cold which u need in Ayia Napa when the temperature is is 40 degrese (over 100!)
Me and Triple D went Club Ice (proper name Ice Ku) on the 1st nite, but left with in 5 minutes becasue it was 70's and 80's music (Foam Party) but came here on the Sunday to see the So Solid Crew! The Best nite of the whole week! The Music DJ Sniper banged out was just second to none, and with his mixing, put the Main So Solid DJ, DJ Swiss to shame! The main MC's that were there were Mega Man, MAC, i few i recgonise, but dont know the names of and some one who looked exactly like Asher D. I doubt it was him coz i think hes still banged up! The rest of the crew were just dancing on stage and basically tagging along coz they were actually doing n ething. Just staring out the croud and acting hard really. It looked good though!!!!!
The Club it self isn't a particular shape. You could call it a circle, but with the design has a cave its a bit hard to name it a shape (if u know wot i mean;-] ) The DJ Box is up against the wall with a stage in front of it! The DJ Box is higher then the stage and dance flour below. The stage was just filled with about 30 of the So Solid Crew. The lighting is cushdy and the sound system is massive!
Club Ice also do weekly Foam Parties on Thursdays and Tuesdays. Pop Corn Parties on Saturdays and Mondays ( I think) they have So Solid every Sunday (although i think this so solid gig was the last for the seasion) and other nights that i cant remember!
Wicked Club 9/10
Castle Club- The Castle club is wicked but the music is crap. The music is pukka if u like Funky House though. I cant comment on this club too much because i went there long enuff! Thew chill out area is good. The chill out area is actually outside on the second floor. Arena one (Funky House) is on the ground floor and Arena 2 (RnB) is on the 3rd floor! The club is so big that it has 3 different entrances situated on 3 different sides on the club. One entrance is for arena 1, another entrance takes you stright to the Chill out area and the 3rd entrance takes you stright to arean 2! This sounds confusing because the arenas are on different floors but the square (Where all the bars and clubs are) is actually on a hill!
The club has a balcony in arena 1 where you can look at all the nuttas who like this music dancing. Thats where i woz most of the time until i left! I didnt complane coz i didnt pay to get in coz i had a vip pass!

Club Abyss- Deffently the best club in Ayia Napa with out having the check out the other clubs i had missed! This is the last club we went to and what a night to go. It was Twice as Nice! Although there were no top names, it was deffently the second best night behind the So Solid Crew at Club Ice. You walk through the doors and go down the stairs to enter the club but the chill out is stright through, again which is outside. The club itself takes about a minute to get to (Depending on how much u had to drink!!!) It goes deeply underground. I thought the stairs were endless! When u finally get sown the stairs the club is just breath taking! It is designed as a big cave. The whole club (once busy) is a dance floor. Theres no seating areas at all which is great coz i love dancing! The DJ Box is really high which is great if there is a top DJ and the MC Stage in front is also a dance floor for all the Napa ravers. There woz a great atsmphoere. The sound system is brilliant and the lighting and strobe lights are 10/10! I woz shocked to find dat you had to go down more stairs to get to the toilets! How deep does this club go! Its deeper then the London Underground! Back on the dance floor, there is a balcony oppisite the DJ Box! This is where you get the up 4 it girls dancing getting all the boys going!
The best club on the Island- 11/10 !!!!
